I think that overall, my favorite cut scenes are Shane's . I like that pity and redemption are used in a really positive way as a guideline for most of his cut scenes.

I missed Emily's 10 heart event, then it rained the next day, but I went to the Secret Woods after 10:00 PM on the following night and it happened, so it should be the same for everyone as long as you follow the instructions as to where to go and what time.
