Then 2nd up is the laser sniper rifle that i use at around 151 damage a shot before bonuses. Now if only we can get silencers for energy weapons. Then place it LAST or near last in your Mod Order (not load order as it has no ESP). I use MO2 and not Vortex so not sure how to set the mod order if you use Vortex. For instance explosive & wounding are wonderful for automatic weapons/semi-automatic weapons, not so great on something weapons like gauss rifles or hunting rifle where two-shot is way more effective.

Basically in the early game, you want to conserve ammo and go for the weak spots of enemies if you can’t one hit them.
