You can't change that via settings. … WebFind Dark Reader on your extensions/add-ons page and enable/place a checkmark next to a setting called "Allow access to search page results". Not having this enabled prevented the Dark Reader extension from working on Google search pages. After ticking that checkbox Dark Reader started working correctly again.
