I recently took my cheap calipers to lobe heights and my early 75 F cam (original owner) had an exhaust lobe 0.1mm higher than a late K or late F cam. WebMay 9, 2024 · But, IIRC I tore apart a 428pi engine, its cam was also marked ABX, but the cam degreed out as a 428CJ hydraulic cam, 270-290 advertised, 207-221 at .050 lobe, .278 .283 lobe lift. Trouble is, lobes can easily be worn .005 to .010 or more so you can measure all the lobes but still end up guessing which cam it was.
